According to the news released by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Market Supervision, a few days ago, under its guidance, the Beijing Bicycle and Electric Bicycle Industry Association organized the industry to compile the "Technical Specifications for Lithium-ion Power Battery Packs for Electric Bicycles", "Technical Specifications for Chargers for Electric Bicycles", The three group standards of the "Guidelines for the Safe Use of Electric Bicycles" were officially released. It is reported that this is the first release of similar standards in the local electric bicycle industry.
Among them, the "Guide to the Safe Use of Electric Bicycles" guides the safety requirements that electric bicycle users need to meet in daily links such as purchase, use, parking, charging, and maintenance, and provides standard guidelines for the safe use of electric bicycles.
In terms of parking, the "Guide" points out that electric bicycles should be parked in open or semi-open dedicated parking places, and should not be parked indoors and in evacuation passages and safety exits of buildings. When parking, the power lock should be turned off, and the power should be turned off to park. Special attention should be paid to the fact that electric bicycles should be parked far away from dangerous places such as gas facilities, power distribution facilities, boiler rooms, gas stations, and the distance between them is greater than 5 meters. It should be parked far away from the outer wall of the building, and no combustible materials are piled within 2 meters around the body. Avoid parking in the upper ground position of sewage wells, sewers, septic tanks and other areas.
